Recently a friend of mine lost their job. You may have gone through a similar situation. I remember being downsized back in 2009.
Job loss is a sensitive issue with many people. I think the hardest part of any job loss is how people react. People often "don't know what to say" so they completely ignore the person who lost their job. The simple fact? We don't need to say anything. We just need to listen. That person who lost their job is experiencing a wave of emotions that just need to be let out and a listening ear helps,.
If you know someone who has lost a job, lend a listening ear, take them out for coffee or even send a quick message saying they are in their thoughts. A simple act of kindness can go along way during a job loss.

"Hello"
Shika here and I found this very cool! I found this article on the net......
A Swedish housing company announced a $137,000 campaign aimed at encouraging neighbors to greet one another.
The "Say Hi" campaign, announced by the MKB municipal housing company in Malmo, includes a brochure distributed to tenants with instructions on how to make small talk with neighbors, Swedish news agency TT reported Monday.
The pamphlet advises neighbors to prepare open-ended greetings and avoid yes-or-no questions.
However, MKB spokesperson Margaretha Soderstrom said lengthy conversations are not always required.
"It's sometimes enough to smile, nod a little, or make a small gesture," she said. "Basically, it's about noticing one another and not averting your glance when meeting others."
Do you talk to your neighbors? In the this age of social media the simple "Hello" is almost forgotten! Say hi to someone today, and if someone says hi to you, don't be scared, say hi back....a simple "hello" can make anyones day. :)

Fall Beauty
Last weekend I was able to head out and take some fall pictures. I encourage everyone to take time out of their busy schedule, put the cell phone/tablet down and enjoy the amazing beauty we have in our area!
Cheers!
