Before they became the Next Big Thing in the late 1970s, seminal post-punk band Talking Heads did something that thousands of other young bands have done – they recorded some demos. And those early recordings are just now surfacing.
The demos by David Byrne, Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth were recorded in 1975 at CBS in New York during the band’s struggling-artist phase (the label passed on signing them).
