Here it is a new year....have you tried something new? This year I've experimented with some cooking and even auditioned for a movie that's being shot right here in Temiskaming Shores. Things I've never done but thought I'd always like to try.
If you've always wanted to try something, there's no time like the present :)

Take Time
Things have been busy here at CJTT and even in all of our personal lives too. Even though we can all get extremely busy remember to make time for the ones that matter in our lives. Take a few minutes to enjoy the window displays that our local merchants have put together. Take two extra seconds to say thank you to the cashier that rung up our purchase. And let's remember the real reason for the season.

Simple Things
The Christmas Season is in full swing. Many times we get caught up in the season and think we need to go all out when entertaining or even gift giving.
Over the past few years, my family and I have cut back on gift giving. Our former intern mentioned to me that this year her family wouldn't be exchanging gifts at all, but rather just the time as a family.
Back in the summer, three of of us co workers here at CJTT got together a couple times for dinner. It was simple, and we all enjoyed some good conservation. What stuck with me was how much fun we had and it was something so simple.
This Christmas Season remember its not about "how much" but about "time well spent"
Cheers!
